Four drivers face court and have had their vehicles seized after a Tribesmen Outlaw Motorcycle Club event in Counties Manukau over the weekend.

Inspector Rakana Cook, Counties Manukau East Area Prevention Manager, reported that multiple teams collaborated over the long weekend to address and disrupt gang-related activity in the area.

Among those charged, three individuals face charges for sustained loss of traction, while another was charged with driving while forbidden.

“All four drivers also had their vehicles impounded,” said Cook.

Police actively monitored the event, prioritizing road safety for all.

“Overall, we are pleased with the result and will continue to hold people accountable for actions that put themselves and others at risk,” he said.

  1. Looks like boy racers are having their wings clipped too
There has to be repercussions and consequences for their actions
Hit them in the pocket book
And cut down on their modes of transport
A good start but needs to be backed up by firm decisiveness backed by good judgement
