Around 30 protesters gathered outside Foreign Minister Winston Peters’ Auckland home on Thursday evening.
Demonstrators were protesting the detention of New Zealanders involved with the ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ and chanted, banged drums, waved Palestinian flags, and wrote messages in chalk on the footpath, including the names of those detained.
Police and Auckland Council noise control officers attended, with the group dispersing by 10pm after being asked to lower noise levels.

I’m not a citizen of “the planet”, I’m a citizen of New Zealand.
People should be protesting and shouting and raising hell outside of our politicians homes for things that are happening HERE to US
meanwhile…millions in “royalties” down the road at Spotify where your money pays for the bombs that drop into Gaza.
Uh Jesus Christ 😒😑
Omg, this is disgusting. Arrest them all for terrorism.
Agreed.
Schelle, pl switch on brain b4 commenting.
Maybe switch to channel 20.
Good on them. NZ’s so called governments stance on Gaza is an embarrassment. Even Australia, which I generally have a low opinion of, is doing better.
OHH how pathetic go home.
Or arrest them.
