Police are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a number of young women in relation to a serious assault incident at Morningside Train Station on the evening of 31 October 2025 (Halloween).
During this incident, four victims were assaulted on and around a train carriage and platform.
An extensive investigation has been carried out, and two young people have been arrested, however Police are still working to identify some of the people present at the time.
“We are now releasing images of several young women who we believe may have information that could assist our investigation”, said police in a statement.
“If you recognise anyone pictured, or have information that could help identify them, please get in touch with Police.”

- Providing information anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
Police remind the public not to approach or attempt to identify these people directly.
