InfoWars sale halted as judge orders review of purchase process

A judge has ordered an emergency hearing to review the controversial purchase of Alex Jones’s InfoWars by the satirical news site The Onion following concerns about the fairness of the bankruptcy auction.

The hearing, called by Judge Christopher Lopez, comes after it was revealed that The Onion had bought the site at a bankruptcy auction, but Jones’s legal team and a company affiliated with him raised questions about the bidding process.

A second bidder, First United American Companies, which is tied to one of Jones’s product-selling websites, contended that the auction was improperly conducted, with no open bidding round held. The judge has scheduled an evidentiary hearing next week to assess whether the auction was handled correctly, potentially delaying the sale.

While the exact bid amount from The Onion remains unclear, reports indicate it was lower than the $3.5 million bid from First United American.

Jones has claimed victory with InfoWars quickly returning online and Jones asserting that the site’s restoration represents a major “blow to the Deep State.”

    • Me 5 years ago: Bullsh!!t ✋😑

Me present day, watching how viciously they go after anyone who even questions it: 🤔

      • The idea of a Constitutional Republic is that you defend people’s right to speak freely even if what they say metaphorically makes your blood boil. Whether Sandy Hook was a “false flag” or not is, in effect, not important. What is important is that Alex Jones has been targeted for expressing his truth, as cantankerous as it is.

If you do not have freedom of speech, then you have “1984”.

    • And the Boston marathon bombing and pretty much every other “terror” attack as well as the Oct 7 HamArse event is I reckon a Mossad/CIA/MI6 operation.

      • There’s a well known video clip of one of the supposed fathers laughing and joking with those around him until someone whispers “okay, we’re on”, and he promptly steps up to the podium and starts giving a tearful speech. It’s HIGHLY suspicious.

I’m not saying there was no shooting, or that innocent children weren’t killed. But there’s definitely been a political “milking” of the situation and a noteably aggressive response to anyone asking even basic questions.

All the biggest false flag operations never “faked” a shooting/bombing/terrorist attack, but instead manipulated conditions to allow it to occur (like 9/11, January 6 or the Trump assassination attempt).

Alex Jones really put his foot in it when he said it was “faked” (people really did die), but there is definitely more to the story than we’re allowed to know. That government is pure evil.

  1. Funny how Alex Jones was all about the 2 party illusion of choice until Trump comes along.

Then it’s all good that Trump picks neocons for his staff. And has former democrats in his staff.

Trump the former democrat. Elon the former democrat.
Tulsi the former democrat. RFK Jr the former democrat.

  2. Sandy hook happened, Alex spoke 2 minutes of air time over 5 years, that’s his 1st amendment right. He got it wrong, he apologised.

New Zealanders need to reflect on our situation more than pointing our fingers at others, we allow our public service people to be cultists, same with our private sector.
