Lawyer Kirsten Murfitt to run as DemocracyNZ candidate for Tauranga

Kirsten Murfitt news

Murfitt is a strong advocate for human rights and freedoms.

Lawyer Kirsten Murfitt will run for the DemocracyNZ party in the Tauranga electorate in this year’s general election. Murfitt is the principal of Tauranga law firm KM Law.

Over the past two years she has authored a series of widely-read open letters to politicians, the police, the Governor-General and the Head of the Defence Force which raised serious questions over the legality and ethics of the governments mRNA ‘vaccine’ roll-out and the consequent clamp-down on basic freedoms and rights.

Her profile on the party’s website states she ‘felt a moral duty to speak out as a lawyer in recent years to protect our fundamental democratic principles for future generations. This has ultimately led her to play an active role in politics, by standing as a candidate for DemocracyNZ. Kirsten shares the passion and determination that Matt and our other DemocracyNZ candidates have to get our country back on track.’

She joins leader Matt King as the party builds its candidate list heading into this year’s election, a list which, in addition to King (Northland) also includes Taranaki-King Country candidate Lee Smith, and Waikato candidate Steve Cranston.

  1. THree of us here voting for DNZ. We need a candidate for Rotorua. I would do it but I pale into insignificance compared to these high calibre individuals! So glad to have these truth warriors standing for the future of New Zealand.

We need to start a movement- so many people are disillusioned with the two main parties. Luxon comes across as weak and national has moved away from its core principles.

Democracy NZ is the way of the future.

  2. Great news! 2 ticks from me.

The corrupt Labour National Green Act Maori uni-party urgently needs to be consigned to the scrapheap of history.

    • I totally agree, all the current MPs needed to be be permanently booted out of office. They’re all ethically, intellectually and morally bankrupt.

  3. I will be voting DNZ, how could you vote for anyone that thinks it is ok to break the Nuremberg code and take all your human rights off you for something less than a flu for most people? Help hold these people accountable!

  4. This current government is merely a bunch of corrupt individuals devoid of morals who have seen to the biggest money laundering scandal in this country’s history.

We must get rid of all those in parliament who have sat by and not stood up for what’s right.

    Vote DNZ!
