Four weather warnings and three weather watches have been issued by Metservice for parts of the North Island today.
- A severe thunderstorm warning for Rodney, Kaipara, Auckland City, Waitakere, Whangarei, Gulf and Albany.
- Heavy rain warning for Auckland including Great Barrier Island.
- Heavy rain warning for Coromandel Peninsula.
- Severe thunderstorm watch for Northland.
- Severe thunderstorm watch for Auckland, Great Barrier Island, Coromandel Peninsula, Waikato.
- Strong wind watch for Auckland.
