Police have formally released the names of the two people who were located deceased in Buller on Tuesday 29 September.
Detective Inspector Geoff Baber says the formal identification process has been completed.
They were Chelsey Anne Russell, 34, of Maimai, and Samuel Frederick Bass, 45, of Crushington.
“Police are providing wrap around support to their loved ones at this difficult time.”
“While we are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident, our investigation into the matter continues.”
A Police presence remains in the area while enquiries are completed.
