Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed he will run for another term in the country’s November 2026 parliamentary elections.

Speaking to Israel’s Channel 14, Netanyahu — the nation’s longest-serving leader — replied “yes” when asked if he would seek re-election and again affirmed his confidence in winning.

His recent years in power have been marked by judicial reforms, the Gaza war, and a prolonged hostage crisis, drawing both domestic backlash and international attention. Netanyahu, who leads the right-wing Likud party, first served from 1996 to 1999, then from 2009 to 2021, returning to office in 2022.

He remains on trial for corruption charges, which he denies, and continues to champion a tough stance on Hamas. A recent Channel 12 poll shows Likud maintaining strong support with 72 projected Knesset seats following the Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages.

  1. He is a shoo-in, the election will be rigged to get him back in, everything else is a charade, only Yahoo knows all the balls and can keep them up in the air at the same time. Why mess with a winning formula.
    Jewing 101.

  2. There are rumours of another round of strikes against Iran in preparation.

There may not be an election next year if the zionists go ahead. Hopefully Netanyahu and his coalition parties will be entombed in their bunkers if they do, because Iran is talking like they will fully take the gloves off next time.
