The NZ Outdoors and Freedom Party has officially announced 31-year-old Daymond Goulder-Horobin as its candidate for the Port Waikato electorate, making him the party’s youngest candidate in the upcoming election.

Bringing a formidable blend of academic rigour and frontline community advocacy, Goulder-Horobin holds a Master of Business in Economics (MBus Econ) from Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and a Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics (GradDip Data Analytics) from the Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT). His selection signals the party’s commitment to tackling complex public sector issues with deep analytical precision.

Goulder-Horobin, a driven young New Zealander committed to restoring freedom, integrity, and justice to the Kiwi way of life, says he chose to stand in honour of the party’s persistence and tenacity.

“The Outdoors and Freedom Party has consistently stood up for the rights of New Zealanders and held the Government to account,” Goulder-Horobin said. “I want to bring my experience in technology, economics, and community advocacy to help the party enter Parliament. We need strict analytical rigour to call out corruption and expose incompetence in the public sector.”

Having previously run in the Auckland Council elections for the Franklin Local Board (Waiuku Subdivision), Goulder-Horobin is no stranger to the frustrations of local communities. His local government campaign gave him direct insight into how voters feel left behind by distant tiers of government and impacted by rapid urban sprawl. He plans to channel that experience into ensuring the Port Waikato electorate receives the transparent, accountable representation it deserves.

Beyond regional issues, Goulder-Horobin is highly passionate about innovation and financial technology policy. Crucially, he is raising the alarm over the public sector’s growing, unchecked reliance on Artificial Intelligence. While advocating for technological advancement, he strongly opposes the temptation to outsource human decision-making to AI systems, especially when it impacts the lives of everyday citizens.

Party leadership welcomed the youth and specialised expertise Goulder-Horobin brings to the team, noting that at 30, he represents the next generation of leadership required to restore trust in New Zealand’s public institutions. If elected to Parliament, Goulder-Horobin intends to demand absolute competence and integrity from all public sectors and Crown-owned companies.

“For me, standing for Parliament is entirely about serving New Zealanders,” says Goulder-Horobin. “It’s time to restore trust, transparency, and true respect for the will of the people in public life.”

  1. Looks like a ***** **********, has meaningless credentials from two fakeademic WEF money factories and goes by a stupid name. Sounds like the perfect candidate for a non-party.

    • Daymond came to us because he believes in freedom of choice and our bill of rights .. hes a bright young man with a masters in Business and Grad Diploma in Data Analytics so has great skills and a good heart that is what is important to us as a party .. It’s nice a hard working young man like him standing up .

  2. Where are the New Zealand Loyal Party candidates????
Why do the never seem to get a mention??? Anywhere???

    • I voted for them last election but these days you hear very little from them. I wonder if they will last?

      • NZ Loyal Party are being marginalised, boycotted and indirectly harassed on several fronts.
As I understand things, NZ Loyal has to reach a 500 party member number in order to re-register for the upcoming (s)election.
The NZ Loyal Leader & his partner are facing jail time for allegedly distributing the Christchurch Massacre video, but this was BEFORE it was banned from viewing by the Labour party Communists from Jabby & Chippy.
The Party Leader of NZ Loyal went to Thailand (you can’t legally view the video in New Zealand…) to prove that the video was faked, and made the forensic report available to the cops.
        othing has been done!
In the fake video that was meant to take one’s attention off of the horror, you can see what appears to be n orthodox J3w in the rear-view mirror.
Make no doubt about it; the Christchurch Massacre was a Mossad operation. That is why the fake video was produced, and then banned, as well as printed mention in a magazine that was pulled from the shelves!
The Bondi Massacre was also a Mossad op, designed to bring in laws that target ‘hate speech’ and ‘anti-semitism’, thus paving the way for Noahide Law and Talmudic Enfoecement in Oz. This will also include a side-line of forced euthanasia in Oz, which has new laws that is stifling to the senior citizens there, making their lives miserable.
The NZ Loyal Party is the only party that is risking jail time for their officers for seeking out the truth of what happened, and for calling-out the Zionist WEF / WHO / JWO corruption that gained traction under former J3wi$h NZ PM John Key.
& thanks for voting Loyal Party in the last (s)election. Please consider joining so that they can boost their membership roles.
