Police begin revoking McSkimming’s medals

Police Commissioner Richard Chambers has begun the process of revoking former Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming’s Long Service and Good Conduct medals after McSkimming pleaded guilty to possessing child sexual exploitation and bestiality material.

In a memo to staff, Chambers said he had also asked for the return of any police uniforms and offered to re-issue certificates previously signed by McSkimming. He condemned the former officer’s actions as “disgraceful” and contrary to police values, stressing that all officers are accountable under the law.

McSkimming resigned after the material was discovered, and a review of police device security has since been completed to tighten controls and auditing.

  1. All police officers are normally not held accountable under the independent police conduct authority. All they can do is make recommendations.

McSkimming’s is a rare example where police staff are prosecuted. How much cage time is anyones guess. I wouldn’t rule out home detention or a segregated cell. His real penalty will be unable to fit into society. and his family may disown him.

  2. But…IF he does go to jail, will he be ‘suicided’ in order to prevent those other cops who possibly participated in the sharing of the images from being revealed?
The other train of thought is that someone planted those images on his system in order to frame him. We have seen these dirty tactics before, but rarely within the Police Force.
The FBI (now operating in New Zealand, against sovereignty and illegally, I might add…) is notorious for grooming patsies and framing the same!
Don’t expect the courts to side with the scale of innocence- the release from jail for several who were innocent is tantamount to the corruption of seeking a conviction at any cost with laziness in refusing to follow-up details that later proved these people to be innocent.
    OR-
It could be that McSkimming was investigating corruption via child porn within the NZ Police, or elsehwere in high privileged society and it came to a grinding halt when the material was found to trace back to others of ‘high ranking’ or those who are ‘The (Masonic) Pillars of the Community!
After all, look at Andrew…and the other Epstein contacts.
