Despite a credible sighting of Tom Phillips and his three children, Jayda, Maverick, and Ember, police have been unable to locate the group.
A video captured by hunters in a remote area north of Awamarino last Thursday showed a man, suspected to be Phillips, and three children carrying camouflaged backpacks, trekking through rugged terrain.
Although the sighting prompted a large-scale search involving helicopters and ground teams, police arrived several hours later, allowing Phillips and the children to evade capture.
In this case Eugene Sage was correct by calling hunters, cu**ers.
