Police updates on crimes and investigations for 14 April 2023.
Fatal crash – SH16, Waimauku
Police can confirm one person has died following a crash in Waimauku on Thursday morning.
Emergency services responded to the single-vehicle crash on State Highway 16, near McPike Road, around 6.22am.
One person was transported to hospital in a critical condition however sadly died in hospital on Thursday afternoon.
Police extend their condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
Update on missing woman
Police can advise that the 20-year-old woman reported missing from Counties Manukau has been located.
She is safe and well.
Police thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
