A senior Republican has warned that former U.S. President Bill Clinton could face contempt-of-Congress proceedings after failing to appear before a House committee investigating the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer said the panel would move ahead with contempt action next week, arguing that Clinton ignored a subpoena issued as part of the investigation. Comer added that similar steps could be taken against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton if she does not comply with a separate request to testify.
Lawyers for the Clintons have rejected the subpoenas as ‘unenforceable’, saying the couple has already shared what they describe as their ‘limited knowledge’ of Epstein. They argue the committee’s demands lack a valid legislative purpose and amount to a politically motivated attempt to embarrass opponents.
Bill Clinton has denied any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities.
The dispute comes as Congress intensifies efforts to uncover Epstein’s ties to powerful figures, including a push to force the Justice Department to release all remaining investigative files, after lawmakers complained that only partial records have been made public.

Hence my example regarding ICE, supposed to stop illegals entering the US, allegedly removing your voting issue. In truth its like using a band aid to plug a broken dam.
