Hawke’s Bay Police have arrested a second individual in relation to the 2022 murder of Ariki Rigby.
The 29-year-old man from Havelock North faces charges of being a party to arson and is scheduled to appear in Hastings District Court today, with Police set to oppose his bail.
This latest development follows the September arrest of a 32-year-old man in Auckland, who has been charged with murder and is currently in custody. He is set to appear in Napier High Court on October 11.
As the case is now before the courts, Police have refrained from further comment.
