Shooting erupts at US university

Several people have been injured after a gunman opened fire on the campus of Florida State University.

A shooting at Florida State University has left several people injured, including the suspected gunman, who is now in custody, various media outlets have reported. There were unconfirmed reports of a fatality.

According to unconfirmed reports on X, an active shooter situation unfolded near the Student Union. Law enforcement has confirmed that one of two suspected shooters is in custody and the other is deceased. The campus community has been instructed to shelter in place while the situation remains active.

According to Fox News, police say at least two people have been killed.

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare has said in a statement that six individuals were hospitalised following the attack.

    • If it is, you won’t hear anything about it for a few days while they “piece together what happened here”. And even then the info they give will be minimal: “a person did a thing and some people died”.

      If it was a white guy, you’ll know his face his name and his life story by lunch time. And the gun control rhetoric will swing into action about 5mins later. By tonight it’ll be all over 1News and on every website imaginable.
