U.S. President Donald Trump used Anthony Albanese’s landmark White House meeting to publicly rebuke Australia’s ambassador, Kevin Rudd, over his past criticisms, telling him bluntly, “I don’t like you either, and I probably never will.”
The sharp exchange came after a journalist raised Rudd’s deleted anti-Trump posts, prompting the president’s trademark put-down before turning back to praise Albanese as “highly respected” and Australia as “a fantastic place.”
Despite the tense moment, the meeting secured a multibillion-dollar minerals deal to counter China, a renewed US commitment to AUKUS, and a possible Trump visit to Australia.

Rudd deserves all the put downs & ridicule. He had a terrible reputation amongst his staff & security detail the ear wax eating, trans worshipping weirdo. Shouldn’t even be in that ambassador’s job. Why didn’t Trump tear strips off Albosleazy? He had said disparaging things about Trump over the years. Both politicians are sell outs to the fine Australian people.

In spite of some truly stupid and uniformed comments here, Kevin Rudd was on of the few Australian politicians to openly stand up for Julian Assange, long before it was fashionable and oppose the worst excesses of the US. Unsurprisingly, not long after this he was deposed and replaced.
As for the latest US administration, they are just like the last one and the one before that. Backing globalism, looking to rob peaceful nations like Venezuela of their resources (even when the govt there offers to negotiate a favourable trade deal), backing Israels endless wars and human rights abuses and worse, they don’t even care about their own people. Just look at how little they care about working class miners in the US, for example. Many end up suffering from black lung that means an early death. Any support for industry reform, which has been proposed, nah of course not.
Sorry Donny but Kevin Rudd, in my estimation is worth at least 10 you of you, probably a lot more.
I give it a few weeks until Rudd steps down and a new ambassador.
