The US commander-in-chief has urged Tehran to “make peace” after ordering attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.
US President Donald Trump has warned Tehran to “make peace” or face further attacks, just hours after the United States carried out “massive precision strikes” on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.
The attack came over a week after Israel initiated the conflict by launching airstrikes against Iran and swarms of small explosive drones that had reportedly been pre-positioned inside the Islamic Republic months earlier, according to the Washington think tank CSIS.
In a televised address from the White House on Saturday night, the US president told the nation: “Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world’s number one state sponsor of terror.”
“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success,” he declared. “Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.”
Trump also warned Iran against retaliation, calling it the “bully of the Middle East.”
Iran… must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.
Israel launched its Operation Rising Lion as a “preemptive” strike, supposedly aimed at preventing the Islamic Republic from acquiring a nuclear bomb. Tehran, which has consistently maintained that its nuclear program is peaceful, called the attack an act of war and responded with missile and drone strikes of its own.

In just one week, Israeli strikes have killed at least 430 Iranians and injured more than 3,500 civilians, according to Iran’s Health Ministry – though other sources have reported higher death tolls. Israeli officials have reported 25 deaths and over 2,500 injuries.
Trump reiterated that “there will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.”
“Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight was the most difficult of them all, by far – and perhaps the most lethal,” Trump warned.
“If peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed, and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes,” he said, adding: “There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight.”
The whole attack looks scripted. Trump of course is a good actor, but no credible video or images. Not to memtion the impossibility of damaging fordo. These missiles were launched from subs and did little or no damage but PR is spinning it jnto some top gun movie. Is trump playijg 5d chess and screwing satanyahu? The photos and videos ive seen beg the question, who took themnin the middle of a desert 100s miles from the nearest settlement, in the black of night, at the precise moment? And no radiation detected in Iran or neighbouring countries?

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) is now the key decision-maker on whether to close the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iranian parliament has already voted in favor of the closure following recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
However, this parliamentary vote is more of a recommendation — the SNSC, with final approval from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, holds the actual authority to enforce such a move.
Closing the Strait would be a major escalation.
It is one of the world’s most critical oil transit choke points, handling about a fifth of global oil shipments.
Any disruption could send shockwaves through global energy markets — and we’re already seeing oil prices spike and financial markets react.
If the SNSC does approve the closure, it would mark a significant shift in regional dynamics.
What we are looking at is if it is closed an up ante playing out as that of the Houthi coordinated attack campaign on shipping through the Southern Red Sea, Bab el Mandeb Strait, and Gulf of Aden.
It is doubtful Iran would physically close the Strait.
To keep China on the leash accommodated and on board
But would use its fleet of small surface vessels to hari those ships willing to run the gauntlet which would pose the question of insurance cover for those vessels and if they were willing to take those risks.
The genie is out of the bottle and there is no going back.
