The Methodist Church has dissolved the entire Wesley College Trust Board and commissioned an independent review following escalating concerns over student safety and a public dispute between the school and the Education Review Office (ERO).
The move comes after the Ministry of Education ordered the urgent closure of the Pukekohe school’s hostels, prompted by a violent incident involving more than 30 senior boarders and repeated ERO findings of unsafe conditions.
The church told legacy media the governance overhaul aims to strengthen oversight, with its president Te Aroha Rountree now acting as the interim board.
While Wesley College principal Brian Evans claimed ERO staff pressured students into giving negative statements, ERO senior officials have strongly denied the allegations, saying they will not apologise for prioritising student safety.
An external review is set to begin shortly, with recommendations to guide the formation of a refreshed Trust Board.
Enabling the bullies in ALL of the schools is part of the Rugby mentality, and encouraged under Darwinism (survival of the fittest).
Teachers, Staff & Board Members quietly seem to endorse this methodology of separating the ‘strong’ (bullies, competitive sports, etc.) from their victims (usually not well versed in sports, athletics, but in many cases highly intelligent).
The ‘Christian’ schools are also guilty of this- catering to the Special Needs Student until their rolls encrease, and then the targeted bullying / abuse starts-up in the efforts to rid the schools of ‘problematic’ students.
We know this from experience and 3 schools later within one year!!!
The last ‘school was a so-called ‘Chriatian’ school where the boys (age 7-8) were exposing their buttocks (mooning) to the Special Needs children, and flashing their pathetic little penises. The school did nothing despite being warned about it!
If you have a Special Needs child, or have a child who has been relentlessly bullied, PLEASE consider getting an exemption to homeschool, or do the Correspondence School from home.
Keep your children away from the goatish ‘kids’ who torment others to the delight and entertainment of the teachers, school staff and conspiring Board of trustee members!
