The Warriors’ path to the NRL grand final has become tougher after the Dolphins stormed home to win their qualifying final 16-26 at Go Media Stadium.
The Warriors led 12-8 at halftime, with Taine Tuaupiki scoring all their points, but three unanswered converted tries in the final 20 minutes secured victory for the Dolphins.
The loss ended the Warriors’ six-game winning streak and sends them into a home elimination clash against the Newcastle Knights next week.
