Dupont dazzles as France humiliate Wales in record Six Nations win

Antoine Dupont orchestrated a dominant French performance in Paris, inspiring a crushing 43-0 win over a hapless Wales in their Six Nations opener.

The home captain provided three try assists before exiting after 49 minutes, with France leading 28-0 at halftime thanks to doubles from Theo Attissogbe and Louis Bielle-Biarrey. Further tries from Julien Marchand, Emilien Gailleton, and Gregory Alldritt sealed Wales’ worst-ever tournament defeat in France.

Warren Gatland’s side, enduring a miserable run of 13 consecutive losses, failed to score a point in a Six Nations game for the first time.

Meanwhile, Romain Ntamack’s return was marred by a late red card, but France’s superiority was unquestionable, reaffirming their status as championship contenders.
