English Premiership Rugby rebrands as ‘Gallagher Prem’

The English Premiership rugby will rebrand as the ‘Gallagher Prem’ next season in a push to appeal to younger audiences and highlight the sport’s physicality and intensity.

Featuring a new orange logo and a more informal tone, the league aims to connect with fans aged 18-34—whose numbers rose 30% from 2023 to 2024—by showcasing big hits, emotional moments, and behind-the-scenes content on social media.

The rebrand is part of a broader strategy for growth and financial stability following the collapse of several clubs. A potential shift to a franchise model is also under consideration to attract new investment.
