Henry’s five-wicket haul seals tight warm-up win for Black Caps over USA

Matt Henry starred with the ball, taking five wickets and delivering a decisive final over to help New Zealand secure a seven-run win over the United States in a T20 World Cup warm-up match in Mumbai.

Despite illness and injuries disrupting selection — including Rachin Ravindra ruled out, Finn Allen sidelined, and Devon Conway only cleared late — the Black Caps posted 208-7, led by Tim Seifert’s quick-fire 66.

The USA pushed hard in reply, but Henry’s late wickets and tight death bowling restricted them to 201-8, giving New Zealand momentum ahead of their tournament opener against Afghanistan.
