Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka has confirmed he will not play in LIV Golf beyond the current season, ending his time with the Saudi-backed league in what was described as a mutually agreed decision.
In a statement released by LIV Golf, Koepka said family considerations were central to the move, following a difficult year that included his wife Jena Sims suffering a miscarriage.
Koepka, who joined LIV in 2022 as part of its high-profile breakaway from the PGA Tour, thanked league leadership, teammates and fans, saying he remained supportive of LIV and passionate about golf.
The 35-year-old had reportedly signed a contract worth more than NZ$160 million, originally set to run through 2026, and has indicated he will share details of his next steps in the sport in due course.
