Kylian Mbappe scored his first hat-trick for Real Madrid in a commanding 3-0 win over Real Valladolid, pushing Los Blancos four points clear at the top of La Liga.
The French star opened the scoring with a curling strike from Jude Bellingham’s cross before adding a second after the break with a powerful finish from Rodrygo’s assist. Mbappe sealed his hat-trick with a late penalty, awarded after Real loanee Mario Martin fouled Bellingham and was sent off for his reckless tackle.
Mbappe now has 15 league goals this season, just one behind Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, and 22 in all competitions.
With Atletico Madrid dropping points earlier, Real capitalized to widen their lead, while Valladolid remain rooted at the bottom.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side now shifts focus to the Champions League, facing Brest on Wednesday in a must-win encounter to stay in contention for the top eight.
