Seven-time world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has pulled out of next week’s World Grand Prix in Hong Kong due to medical reasons.
The 49-year-old was set to face China’s Si Jiahui but will be replaced by Iranian player Hossein Vafaei. O’Sullivan, who has not played on the World Snooker Tour since January, previously apologised for recent withdrawals, citing the need to prioritize his health.
With his absence from upcoming events, his next possible appearance will be at the World Snooker Championship in April.
