New Zealand Rugby has confirmed the appointment of Dave Rennie as All Blacks Head Coach through to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
Rennie, who has Cook Islands roots through his mother from Titikaveka, Rarotonga, was endorsed by NZR Chair David Kirk as a proven leader capable of building high-performance environments and delivering results. Rennie described the role as an immense honour and said he has a clear vision for how the team will play as they prepare for a demanding international schedule.
He will complete his commitments with the Kobelco Kobe Steelers in Japan before returning home to lead the All Blacks into mid-year Tests against France, Italy and Ireland. NZR said further announcements regarding the wider coaching group will follow in coming weeks.
He returns to Aotearoa!
