Promising 19-year-old Tasman playmaker Harry Inch is reportedly poised to switch codes and join the New Zealand Warriors in 2026.
The former Nelson College and NZ Secondary Schools star, seen as a future Crusaders first-five or second-five, has been part of the Tasman Mako and NZR development programmes.
Tasman CEO Steve Mitchell confirmed Inch had signalled his intent to move to rugby league, saying the union wouldn’t stand in the way of local talent chasing dreams.
Crusaders assistant coach James Marshall earlier revealed they had “fought hard” to keep Inch with the Crusaders, however Warriors recruitment boss Andrew McFadden said there was “interest” but no deal yet.
Inch’s Nelson College teammate Saumaki Saumaki is also tipped to switch codes, reportedly signing with South Sydney for 2026.
