Storm sink Titans 16-28 in wet-weather clash to stay top four

Melbourne Storm handled wild weather better than the Titans to secure a 16-28 away win on Saturday, maintaining their top-four NRL position with a seventh-season victory.

Despite a brave performance from Origin-battered Titans captain Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and strong efforts by Beau Fermor and Moeaki Fotuaika, the home side was left frustrated after a controversial Bunker call denied them a crucial try.

The Storm capitalised immediately, swinging momentum with a length-of-the-field response. Titans centre Jojo Fifita impressed again, strengthening his State of Origin case with a try assist and solid two-way play.
