The New Zealand Warriors will head into their Round 10 bye full of confidence after extending their winning run to four matches with a dominant 14-36 win over the Eels at CommBank Stadium in Sydney ahead of a blockbuster Magic Round clash against the Broncos on May 17.
The Warriors impressed across the park, completing 37 of 44 sets at an 84 per cent success rate while producing 44 tackle breaks to the opposition’s 28.
Veteran back Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was among the standout performers, running for 179 metres, breaking six tackles and sealing the result with a late try following strong lead-up play from Tanah Boyd and Chanel Harris-Tavita.
Boyd added the conversion as the Warriors capped another convincing performance.
