At least 11 people were stabbed at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, on Saturday, police said. The suspect was detained at the scene.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office said officers were investigating a “multiple stabbing incident.” “Details are limited at this time,” the department wrote on X.
Health officials said that 11 victims have been hospitalized at Munson Medical Center.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said, “FBI personnel are responding to provide any necessary support to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office in their investigation of the attacks at the Walmart.”
