Federal charges against Utah plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Kirk Moore, accused of destroying USD $28,000 worth of COVID-19 vaccines and issuing fake vaccination cards, were dropped Saturday at the direction of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The case, initially brought during the Biden administration, alleged Moore gave saline shots to children and provided falsified records for over 1,900 doses.
Bondi defended the dismissal on social media, calling Moore’s actions a matter of choice, while officials said the decision was “in the interests of justice.”
The move has drawn attention from figures like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., both vocal supporters of Moore.
