Explosive Epstein files claims suggest possible prison switch before reported death

Newly surfaced material linked to the wider Epstein document releases is fuelling renewed debate about what happened in the hours before disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was allegedly found dead in a New York jail cell in 2019.

According to claims circulating online and discussed in recent commentary segments, documents identify a Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) corrections officer as the anonymous 4chan poster who previously claimed to have witnessed unusual activity at the prison the night before Epstein’s reported death.

The individual is alleged to have described Epstein being moved from his cell in a medical wheelchair while restrained, alongside claims that an unauthorised transport van entered the facility without standard logging procedures. The online discussion suggests this could indicate Epstein may have been removed from the prison prior to the official timeline of his death.

Commentators Jimmy Dore and comedian Kurt Metzger discussed the material, arguing it could represent what they described as “credible evidence” that Epstein may not have died inside the facility. During the discussion, Dore said he would not dismiss the possibility, while also acknowledging he could not prove the claims as fact.

The discussion also referenced alleged differences between Epstein’s known appearance and post-mortem images, including ear shape and nose structure. The segment acknowledged uncertainty around how physical features can change after death.

Epstein was officially ruled to have died by suicide in August 2019 while being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death prompted multiple investigations into prison procedures and security failures.
