The FBI and local authorities are investigating an apparent deliberate explosion early Saturday inside the Goldenson building at Harvard University’s Longwood medical school campus in Boston.
A Harvard University Police officer responding to a fire alarm around 2:45 a.m. witnessed two people fleeing the building before discovering an explosion on the fourth floor.
The Boston Fire Department’s Arson Unit determined the blast appeared intentional, though no injuries were reported and no additional devices were found. Harvard Police are leading the investigation with assistance from state and federal agencies.
