A warehouse operated by a Czech defence manufacturer with links to Israel’s Elbit Systems has been damaged in a fire in the town of Pardubice, with an anti-Zionist group claiming responsibility.
The group, calling itself the Earthquake Faction and describing itself as an “internationalist underground network,” released video footage it says shows the arson attack, alongside images of the burned-out facility.
It claimed the site was involved in developing weaponry used by Israel in conflicts across Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and wider West Asia.
Emergency services brought the fire under control and confirmed no injuries, while police said there was no risk to the public but are treating the incident as a suspected terrorist attack.
The facility is run by LPP Holding, which produces both civilian and military equipment and announced cooperation with Elbit Systems in 2023 on drone development. The Czech Republic, a member of NATO and the European Union, remains a close ally of Israel and has backed US and Israeli actions against Iran while condemning Iranian missile and drone strikes.
