A Belfast court has acquitted a former British paratrooper, known only as Soldier F, of murder and attempted murder charges stemming from the 1972 Bloody Sunday massacre in Londonderry.
Judge Patrick Lynch ruled that the prosecution’s evidence was insufficient, citing the loss of documents and the age of witness statements dating back over five decades.
The verdict follows years of investigations and renewed legal efforts after a 2010 inquiry concluded that all victims were unarmed when British troops opened fire on civil rights protesters, killing 14.
Irish politicians and victims’ families expressed deep disappointment, calling the ruling another example of “justice delayed is justice denied” in one of the darkest chapters of the Northern Ireland Troubles.
The continued denial of justice for the Bloody Sunday families is deeply disappointing.

The Irish in Northern Ireland (Protestant Loyalists to the British Crown…) should perhaps work with the Irish Republican Movement and find THEIR OWN SOLUTION to the problems of irish status-quo WITHOUT THE GOVERNMENT, AS THE GOVERNMENT HAS ONLY COMPLICATED THE SITUATION AND MADE MATTERS WORSE!

Those Irish Catholics living in the U.K. should be open to selling / swapping their homes out to the Irish Protestants in Northern Ireland, and then Northern Ireland can then vote to join the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND via mandated vote and / or referendum.
That puts a stop to the U.K’s plan for Digital I.D., Facial Recognition, and constant simmering tensions in Greater Ireland.
