Israeli air strike kills nine of doctor’s children in Gaza – reports

An Israeli air strike in Khan Younis, Gaza, has killed nine of paediatrician Dr Alaa al-Najjar’s ten children, according to Nasser Hospital where she works.

The hospital reported that her husband and one child survived with serious injuries.

The Israeli military said it targeted suspects operating near its forces and that civilian casualties are under review.

The incident comes amid growing international concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where aid remains critically limited.

More than 53,000 people have died in Gaza since Israel’s military campaign began in response to Hamas’s 7 October terrorist attack.

  1. “More than 53,000 people have died in Gaza since Israel’s military campaign began in response to Hamas’s 7 October terrorist attack”.
Yeah right. 530,000 would be on the low side and over a million more realistic.

  2. Disgusting, murderous scumbag, Israeli govt. May these poor children rest in peace. Consolable to the parents, I can not imagine what they are going through. Time for the gutless NZ govt to stand up, renounce this and impose sanctions on Israel.

  3. Come on Telegraph you can do better than this fake story ?
Palestinian outlets claimed on Friday that an Israeli airstrike killed the nine children of Dr. Alaa al-Najjar, a physician at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. Guess what? The photograph offered as proof had already appeared in March in a different report that said children from the Abu Daqqa family were killed. The recycling of the image highlights deliberate media manipulation aimed at discrediting Israel. Attached are just two of many examples.
Preliminary findings from the Khan Yunis strike confirm that 4 terrorists were killed. There’s no evidence to support the pro-Palestinian claim that 9 children were killed.

The photo being circulated is also AI.

  4. Dear Palantir,
    s’il vous plait, please hear
    a cry that’s planetary:
    “Please turn off bombs
    and right some wrongs
    please shut down armoury”
    A paradigm
    which transcends time
    declares it lunacy
to make such noise and lose the poise
    of peace and quiet plenty
    s’il vous plait ..
