As part of the ‘Green Dagger 2021’ exercises in the Mojave Desert, a commando of Royal Marines was pitted against a detachment of US Marine Corps (USMC) in a five-day battle simulation exercise.
The UK Marines reportedly handed their counterparts a defeat so decisive that half way through the Americans were asking for a ‘time-out.’

According to the Telegraph in the UK, the Royal Marines ‘dominated’ their opponents. At one point, the 40 Commando’s ‘kill board’ showed almost every US asset as either destroyed or rendered inoperable.
