Trump gets rapturous applause at college football, Walz booed

This week Donald Trump and Tim Walz attended college football games, and the contrast in the crowd’s reaction could not have been more stark.

While Trump received a rapturous welcome from the huge crowd at the Georgia vs. Alabama game, Walz faced loud boos from onlookers as he made his way home from the stadium for the Michigan vs. Minnesota matchup.

Videos circulating on social media show Trump greeted by thunderous cheers and chants as he appeared at the highly anticipated Southeastern Conference (SEC) showdown in Georgia. Fans packed welcomed the former president with standing ovations, many waving their hands and cheering as he smiled and waved back, while chants of “USA! USA!” thundered through the stadium.

Meanwhile, across the country at the Michigan vs. Minnesota game, Governor Tim Walz had a much different experience. The Minnesota governor was met with a chorus of boos as his cavalcade made its way past, with some attendees openly jeering and telling him to “get out of here”.
