The regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, and Krasnodar all came under attack overnight.

Russian air defenses have intercepted several Ukrainian drones over several regions, with the local authorities in Belgorod reporting multiple injuries among civilians, as well as damage to houses and other infrastructure.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday morning that Ukraine attempted to “carry out terrorist attacks” using the Czech-made RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system and drone on the country’s territory.

Officials said that Russian air defense systems shot down 15 projectiles and one drone over Belgorod Region, with another two UAVs destroyed over Bryansk Region and three over Kursk Region.

However, the attacks resulted in a serious impact on the ground in Belgorod Region. At least eight people, including an 11-year-old girl, were injured in Belgorod as a result of the strikes, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Telegram. Four victims were rushed to the hospital with various shrapnel wounds. The girl, who was injured with shrapnel in her left foot, has been taken to a children’s hospital.

Dozens of flats in 19 multi-story buildings and one private house were damaged in the city of Belgorod, the official said. Some of the buildings suffered direct hits, with photographs of the aftermath showing extensive damage and destroyed sections of walls. Others show numerous blown-out windows and broken glass littering the ground outside.

In some of the videos of the aftermath, cars parked next to the residential blocks are seen burning. Nine of at least 37 vehicles damaged in Belgorod overnight burned out completely, according to the city mayor, Valentin Demidov.

The Belgorod authorities have yet to establish the full scale of the damage.

The border region was targeted multiple times, with the authorities issuing air raid alerts on three separate occasions overnight. In the wider Belgorod district, four residential buildings and three cars were damaged as a result of the strikes on the village of Dubovoe.

In a separate incident, at least six drones targeted an oil facility near Anapa in Russia’s Krasnodar Region, according to local emergency services. The attack reportedly caused some damage at the facility and triggered a fire, but resulted in no injuries.

  1. Terrorists just like their masters in the West…time Russia took off the gloves and ended this. You can see where being nice and tolerant gets you, when you are dealing with people lacking a moral compass……

    • i am european and ashamed of what europe has become. Indeed no moral compass any more. All lies and corruption.

  2. The EU and US should be very careful: Remember in WW2 it was the US and UK and others (free French and Poles etc.) taking on Nazi Germany from one side, and Russia all alone taking it on from the other side. When Russia fights, it fights! If the US and UK keep on supplying weapons to Ukraine then I suspect that US, UK and other EU countries could receive a very rude awakening at a time of Russia’s choosing.

I would also say that the EU seizing Russian assets, including super yachts, in my opinion is an act of piracy. I am surprised that they do not see the irony of what they are doing, given history in the last few hundred years.

    • WW2 was wanted by the UK and US. And was financed by J *** high finance from USA and UK via the BIS ( bank for international settlement in Basel) created especially to this effect. ( rothchild creature). How do you think hitler got money to build his army?
The was was planned to destroy germany seen as a threatening competitor. And to advance sionists projects ( just like now the war against Russia was also planned)
Now that some archives are open, researchers have access to hidden ( or until now not for public eyes) material that shine a very different light to some events.
And some truths seem to need some correction . Not every party is happy with it as some publications are on the ” index” ( not available through book shops) or some authors ( academic researchers)are plainly condemned for ” revisionism”
Many discutions going on on this subject on substack.com
