‘Woke pro-trans’ BBC staff revolt after Trump documentary scandal

Woke BBC staff news

The British state-funded broadcaster is facing internal turmoil after the resignation of Director General Tim Davie and CEO Deborah Turness over a scandal involving a misleading edit of US President Donald Trump’s January 6 speech, with reports describing a “civil war” between staff and management.

According to the Daily Mail, “woke pro-trans” staff at BBC News have turned against the broadcaster’s governing board after it admitted that the edited footage appeared to show Trump directly inciting violence — a deliberate action now widely acknowledged as misleading. The U.S. president has threatened to sue the BBC for $1 billion unless a full retraction is issued by Friday.

BBC board chair Samir Shah told Parliament the editing “did give the impression of a direct call for violent action,” while insiders said the fallout has exposed deep divisions within the maligned organisation. Critics claim the BBC has been “captured by a minority ideology,” with biased reporting on transgender issues and the Gaza conflict.

A veteran TV presenter told the Daily Mail they were surprised Davie and Turness were not dismissed earlier, citing a string of editorial controversies. Recent incidents include the censure of presenter Martine Croxall for questioning the term “pregnant people” on air, and a breach of impartiality rules when a Gaza documentary used narration from the son of a Hamas official – a fact which was not disclosed to viewers.

The leadership shake-up has left the BBC under pressure to restore public trust and address growing internal dissent over impartiality and editorial standards.

  1. People in the UK pay the equivalent of $405 a year to receive televised government propaganda courtesy of the Bull**** Broadcasting Corporation. You would think that in this day and age that people would just dump their TVs and condemn the BBC to the history books.
