More details of Te Pāti Māori ‘independent Inquiry’ emerge

An independent inquiry has been initiated to investigate claims that Te Pāti Māori misused personal information collected during the census and Covid ‘vaccine’ drives for electioneering purposes.

The inquiry, ordered by the coalition government and to be conducted by the Public Service Commission, aims to ensure that government agencies, including StatsNZ, the Ministry of Health, Health NZ, Te Puni Kokiri, Oranga Tamariki, and the Ministry of Social Development, had adequate safeguards in place to protect personal data.

Te Pāti Māori has strongly denied the allegations, framing them as part of a broader attack on Māori issues. The Labour Party supports the inquiry, while critics argue that an internal public service investigation may not restore public confidence. The inquiry will also address previous concerns raised by the Labour Party about text messages sent by a number managed by Waipareira Trust. The terms of reference and the lead for the review will be announced soon, as the government seeks to maintain transparency and trust in its handling of personal information.

    • Sorry, but these are not Maori. Maori have mana.
It is a source of both personal and collective strength, pride and identity. Mishandled, it becomes the bearer of shame, ridicule and embarrassment. If mana allows to walk tall, then it also casts a long shadow—truth and humility.
When will real Maori speak up? We are all in this together.

  1. Wasnt it only days ago that there was also the allegation that they had misused public funds, not just private data? Where has that angle disappeared to?

  2. It’s a circus. These grifters days are numbered. Once you only have labour standing in the Maori seats, there is no need for the Maori seats. They literally are a gift of 7 seats to the left block. The whole thing is undemocratic and the Maori party have done absolutely NOTHING to help most Maori.

The whole election process and unauthorised theft of peoples data, the bribery aka “treating” is corrupt. It’s not F’ing Halloween- or is it? Just one big dress up game judging their costumes.

Even more disturbing are the government departments who have KNOWINGLY ignored the corruption. New Zealand Government departments are corrupt. Let that sink in. Not to be trusted. MULTIPLE AGENCIES OK WITH STEALING PEOPLES DATA AND GIVING IT AWAY. Proving digital ID will NEVER be safe because you will not know who has access to it.

The only people with real mana here are the brave whistleblowers and the likes of Brian Tamaki who have collected evidence and made formal complaints.

Let the whole house of cards that is our public “service” and supposed democracy FALL so we can rebuild with proper integrity and TRUE democracy with a fair system not weighted one way based on race. Get rid of the party system too. It’s a have. Let us put representatives there who work FOR ALL THE PEOPLE not themselves.
