UK retailer TESCO accused of racism for only burglar-proofing dark-skinned makeup

The supermarket chain was ‘caught out’ by mum of three Natalie Westgate while she was out on a shopping run.

TESCO has come under fire for locking up it’s dark-skinned makeup products, while lighter shades were displayed with no security measures.

Westgate’s tweet went viral. In response TESCO said:

“Our stores may sometimes use security tags on items which have recently been subject to theft and the decision to do so changes from store to store.”

The supermarket chain added: “As a multicultural employer we are proud to service our local communities and play a part in those communities.”

But the reply did not satisfy Westgate who said the policy was ‘absotutely disgusting.’

A company spokesman later told the UK Sun:

“This was a case of human error in the store and these products should not have been security tagged.

“It’s really important to us that Tesco is a place where everyone feels welcome, and the tags have now been removed.”

  1. The only reason it was taken down was because the order came from Tesco head office and their fear that this would affect their ESG score and would get them on the wrong side of the Jew Larry Fink and Blackrock and their ability to borrow money. Going woke will not make you broke, not being woke enough will however, just ask Luxon he was a henchman for the Fink.
