The spate of shop ram raids continued overnight with the Fresh Choice supermarket in Waimauku the latest victim.
Thieves drove into the front door between 2am and 3am this morning, making off with a small number of items including some vaping products and Instant Kiwi scratchies.
The damaged door is being inspected by workmen today, as shoppers were required to use a side-entrance.
One shopper who did not wish to be named told DTNZ, ‘There’s no consequences for these buggers. Take them back to the 1960s style punishment – that’ll fix them.’
