Freedom activist Liz Gunn appeared in court today with co-accused Jonathan Clark.
The pair face charges following an incident at Auckland airport on 25 February.
Gunn was still suffering from the effects of the incident having an injury to her right shoulder which had not healed. ‘I’m really, really struggling six months on but I don’t put out anything about that because I don’t believe in self-pity. I believe in rolling up our sleeves and saving our country,’ she told Counterspin Media outside court.
Speaking of the charges she said, ‘There was no reason to be in court today wasting taxpayer money a on charge of assaulting police that is completely trumped up.’
Clark explained what happened in court. ‘Today was a procedural day. So what has been missing is the surveillance footage. Apparently we’re going to be getting that. We’ll be able to review it. And I have these SD cards for my camera that have all the interactions. I went to police and they would not give me those cards. I went to Discovery and I was stone-walled… The Prosecution today were like ‘SD cards? What SD cards?’
Gunn added: ‘We need those cards out of Jonathan’s camera because they were rolling even when the camera was flying across and smashing on the ground, those cards recorded something, and that’s what we want. And of course we’ve been wanting the airport footage – the airport footage that has not been edited at all, and we will know if it has been edited.’
Gunn explained that she and Clark will be able to view the airport footage but only on condition that it is not shared with the public. ‘We can’t show you that footage, but at least we can see it with our lawyers.’
Gunn also asked anyone who had footage to send it to liz.gunn@freenz.org.
Gunn will contest this year’s election with the New Zealand Loyal party.
After months of waiting, Liz Gunn & Jonathan Clark will finally be able to review the security footage that recorded their arrest on the condition that they don't share it with the public.

Anytime a court doesn’t allow ALL the evidence, they’re hiding their own criminal behavior.
So they can’t share the footage of their arrest with the public who pays for these “courts”, cops and government? Something very wrong with this country…..
This country is completely corrupt. Has been for decades. The government, the police, the media. All gone. No way of saving anything because there is nothing left to save. Go while you can.
Man or Beast?
Or any combination therein
Genesis 1:25
Racist or Realist?
Police, at least the big contingent that is politicized and ideologically corrupted, have become a tool of the government cadres.
Bureaucracy has developed into an autocratic behemoth, destined to impose their delusions of citizenship, to manipulate us, WE THE PEOPLE as their egomania sees fit.
They have infiltrated jurisprudence, media, universities, government think tanks, education, local governance AND POLICE.
Police are transitioning from keeping peace in NZ society to being stormtroopers for the system.
And the ‘justice’ system? Again, a swamp of bureaucratic spine-less filth, ideologically perverted, which has exchanged the ‘rule of the land and the people’ with something any dictator would be proud of.
Totally corrupt they have to go, Truth is what we want!
