Kansas City shooting: 1 dead, 21 injured, 3 suspects arrested

Kansas shooting news

The tragic shooting in Missouri during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade has claimed one life, while 21 were injured.

As reported earlier today, the incident happened west of Union Station in downtown Kansas City, where thousands had gathered to celebrate. Among the injured were nine children, all are expected to recover. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting, which appeared to be the outcome of an argument rather than a terrorism-related act.

The Kansas City Police and Fire Department responded promptly, with over 800 officers already present for parade security.

Victims were quickly transported to local hospitals, with the most critically injured receiving attention within 10 minutes of the incident.

The shooting has been widely condemned, with statements from local officials, including Kansas City’s mayor and the Kansas City Chiefs organization.

President Joe Biden used the tragedy to advocate for gun reform and the banning of assault rifles in the U.S.

The investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement gathering evidence and seeking information from witnesses.

  1. I look forward to breathless coverage from the corporate media over the next two weeks, including probing introspection and thought provoking commentary on why people of colour appear to be committing so much violent crime. Right guys? Guys?…

  2. I didn’t even need to see the picture. I think nobody needed to see it. Lincoln f’ed up huge by not sending them back. They are nothing but a drain on any society.

  3. Very typical. The usual suspects and bSed on the media’s lack of information on thr shooters, you could guess with 100% accuracy who they were. And the Democrats will call for gun reform when they should be calling for enforcement of existing laws.

  4. Not a lot of infor on the suspects yet. Will be interested to hear who they are, what their backgrounds are, and how recently they have been involved in other criminal incidents (if any).

Biden sure didn’t waste time blamng guns, and demanding Americans surrender their right to own them…. Never let a tragedy go to waste…

  5. here in the States this is a common occurrence, blacks shooting and killing non stop, yet the media will cover up for them and blame guns. If the shooters here were white, the argument would be against white supremacy! the american media covers up for the coloreds so much, it has ruined society. im moving to Auckland.

  6. Ah, the 6.5 percent in America is such a gift to society! Self perpetuated poverty by having multiple kid with multiple baby daddies that no one raises!!!

  7. Thank you for sharing this information as I could not find it on American news outlets as they are hiding the truth on who did this shooting for some unknown reason. However, I may need to become a subscriber to the Daily Telegraph so I can get the facts about what is happening in my own Country.

    • Yahoo will censor you if you state that people should google the New Zealand daily telegraph. Secret is, leave out the word “Daily” and they won’t censor it.

  8. Many years ago, I recall when Black students rebelled against going to school. Their comment? “That’s a white thing to do.” In light of more recent news –– and what I’m seeing in my own red Hoosier city –– I need to presume killing people is a Black thing to do.

  9. So President Biden, as all Lefties do here, use this to push for more gun control. They call for a ban on assault weapons (even though one wasn’t used) but can’t define what an assault weapons is anytime you ask them.
