Former Labour MP Stuart Nash has resigned from his role at recruitment firm Robert Walters after a formal review was launched into his remarks on The Platform.
Nash apologised publicly on LinkedIn, calling his comments “crude and disrespectful” and saying he had let down his family, friends, and colleagues.
He told state-funded media he enjoyed working for the firm but believed stepping down was best for both parties.
Nash has recently been linked with New Zealand First, having spoken at the party’s annual conference, though leader Winston Peters said he was unaware of Nash’s resignation but noted that “some people make mistakes.”

Well he did say he had a lot more to achieve in politics given the time
Maybe a retread reinvent and a new spin doctor might help
I kind of feel sorry for him but he needs to try harder to control his potty mouth. I can control mine so why can’t he?
However his Climate change take is a no go for me.
Stu, you would have better to just own it and ring straight back up and apologise. Then we could have all moved on, had a laugh, learned a lesson and referred you to meat and 2 vege forever afterwards.
But hey, at the end of the day he must be a lefty and look how many failed lefties have gone on to reinvent themselves. I mean look at Trevor and Kiri……
Anyway I don’t wish anyone any harm. Please learn something Stu, if you muck up, apologise- genuinely.
Oh for God’s sake, have we really become so churlish and petty, with a side order of over sensitivity or is it just me? Yeah, a bit of a rough comment but hardly a hanging offence. I feel rather sorry for Nash, politically correct NZ is a pain in the t*ts and run by pu**ies.
