Fire erupts at Australian oil refinery

A late-night fire has broken out at a major oil refinery in Geelong, prompting an emergency response and warnings to nearby residents.

The blaze started shortly after 11pm (local time) at the facility, one of only two remaining refineries in Australia, which processes around 120,000 barrels of fuel per day and supplies roughly 10% of the country’s petrol, diesel, and jet fuel.

Fire Rescue Victoria deployed nine fire trucks to contain the incident, while authorities urged people in surrounding suburbs including Corio and Norlane to avoid the area and take precautions against smoke exposure.

No injuries have been reported, but early indications suggest the fire may have originated in a gas separator unit.

Crews remained on site into Thursday morning to monitor for any flare-ups, with the incident unfolding amid ongoing pressure on fuel supplies linked to global disruptions.

  1. Zio-Globalists at work destroying more energy infrastructure???

Watties is bailing out- perhaps theyknow that there will be NO FOOD TO PROCESS IN THE COMING MONTHS DUE TO OIL SHORTAGES?
Mossad creating a scalable disaster based on ’cause & effect’ via ‘making war via deception’ against Australia???
The Uni-Party in NZ is playing the population with oil forecasts that are continually changing, while ignoring becoming self-sufficiant energy-wise.

    • We need thejr addresses to share our home supplies with these essential politicians.
Would be a shame if thejr security detail couldn’t travel with them.

  2. I’m still waiting for massive fires to break out in unison in every church parliament throughout the collective west, resulting in a reset of the current corporate citizen slave Roman Curia church administrative system that they call democracy.

  3. This is because the Iran situation is about to start winding down, but the globalists still want those fuel prices through the roof.

Agenda 2030 isn’t exactly going to trigger itself, now is it?

    • …starting to wind down
Not holding my breath because in history israhell was ALWAYS destroying peace processes, because such are not congruent to the zionist doctrine.
However, although your comment is correct, it should be clear that fuel prices are New Zealand’s minor problems.
Even an immediate opening of Hormuz will not prevent the inevitable.

    • Shelly, need to do your homework.
You comtradict the traditional Jewish legal (Halakhic) view, which explicitly compares a woman’s hair covering to the state of a mourner or death.
Further, the requirement for married women to cover their hair is considered mandatory by the vast majority of Halakhic authorities which apply the law.
