A dramatic online claim suggesting a deep-sea drone uncovered startling secrets at the bottom of the Bermuda Triangle is generating renewed interest in one of the world’s most enduring maritime mysteries.
An autonomous underwater drone reportedly descended into the Brownson Deep, the deepest known point in the Atlantic Ocean, during a mission in July 2024. The story alleges that the drone captured extraordinary footage before its signal was suddenly lost.
The claims centre on three discoveries: a vast collection of shipwrecks scattered across the seafloor, unusual geometric formations that researchers could not explain, and a brief glimpse of an unidentified moving object near the formations moments before communications with the drone were severed.
