Jai Arrow marked his 100th appearance for South Sydney in an emotional night at a sold-out Sydney Football Stadium, receiving a guard of honour from more than 100 Rabbitohs greats as teammates, family and fans paid tribute following his motor neurone disease diagnosis earlier this year.
The 31-year-old was visibly moved as Wayne Bennett embraced him before Souths demolished a heavily depleted Sydney Roosters side 50-20, scoring 10 tries through nine different players.
Campbell Graham crossed twice, Alex Johnston registered his 30th try of the season and Latrell Mitchell scored on his return to the starting side while producing a powerful all-round display. The victory also secured the Rabbitohs a home finals match against Newcastle next week, while Roosters forward Spencer Leniu attracted attention after a heated first-half confrontation with Keaon Koloamatangi.
