Fatal crash, Palmerston North
Police can confirm that one person has died following a two car crash at the intersection of Milson Line and Richardsons Line, Palmerston North shortly before 7am.
Serious Crash Unit have completed their examination of the crash scene and the road has now re-opened.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
Name release – fatal crash, Glenavy
Police can now release the name of the man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Ikawai Middle Road, Glenavy late on Friday night.
He was 28-year-old Jamie Wheeler, of Glenavy.
Police extends condolences to his family.

Name release: Saint Bathans incident
Police can now name the man who died after a four-wheel drive rolled on an off-road track in Saint Bathans, Central Otago, early on Sunday morning.
He was 20-year-old Sean William Baxter, of Dunedin.
His death will be referred to the Coroner.
Severe weather in Bay of Plenty – watch for hidden hazards
Police are advising Bay of Plenty motorists to take extra care on the roads this evening.
There have been a number of calls for assistance to emergency services due to surface flooding and fallen trees.
Police urge motorists to drive with extreme caution, particularly in areas where there is surface flooding, as there could be hidden hazards.
If you can delay travel, we would advise you do so until the weather event has passed.
